Obelis s.a. @ MEDICA 2011 - Event Overview

In November, 2011 Obelis European Authorized Representative Center (O.E.A.R.C.) has attended at Medica for the 9th consecutive year with a team of 15 representatives;

For Obelis’ team of experts, MEDICA means a perfect stage to meet clients in person and observe their medical devices in reality. This personal interaction evidently facilitates a better mutual understanding of each others’ businesses as well as provides a value-added to Obelis services.  In light of the nature of Obelis’ services, i.e. being a European Authorized Representative for Non-European manufacturers; our main objective was to meet exhibitors from outside the European Economic Area (EEA) and support them in their quest for the CE marking and conformity with the EU requirements by the MDD 93/42/EEC (as amended by the 2007/47/EC), AIMDD 90/385/EEC (as amended by the 2007/47/EC) and the IVDD 98/79/EC as well as support them in their devices’ penetration of the European market or the maintaining and development of it. As a result, Obelis met with over 2,000 exhibitors and laid down the fundamentals for numerous prosperous corporations.

As we understand that being first to market sometimes means everything to our clients, Obelis aims at keeping up with the ever changing technological novelties, aimed at supporting our clients in the fastest and most efficient way. An example to such efforts was present this year at MEDICA by the use of the new QR (Quick Response) code technology.
