Obelis International Offices (OIO) Background

Launched in 2010, Obelis’ International Offices (O.I.O.) is a global network aimed at creating a strong & dedicated Network of International Obelis Offices. The offices will serve local clients with the same high standards, qualities and values provided by our home office.

Representatives Convention 2010

On November 14th, 2010 Obelis launched the 1st OIO Representatives Convention at our headquarters in Brussels, Belgium. Intertek, one the largest Notified Bodies in Europe sponsored the event. The Convention covered a variety of subjects ranging from, all aspects of the CE Marking process, to Cosmetics Regulation and the roles and duties of the EC Rep. Also included in the two day event was an in–depth training on technical documentation requirements and conformity assessment/ certification procedures. There were over 25 attendees from over 15 international markets. All of which operate as Obelis’ International Office and as such, Obelis’ official representative in their respective countries.

The Convention proved to be a great success and benefit for everyone involved. Obelis looks forward to our future international growth and ability to better provide our mutual clients with the finest quality services and personalized solutions to the complex regulatory requirements worldwide.
