Environmental Directives
To increase manufacturer responsibility for the safety and environmental impact of products, the European Commission published three directives that establish specific environmental standards: WEEE 2002/96/EC, RoHS 2002/95/EC, and P&PW 94/62/EC. These directives outline rules and safety procedures to be followed by all the EU countries in order to provide a clean and safe environment in Europe.
