RAPEX
(Rapid Exchange of Information on Dangerous Products) is the notification system for dangerous consumer products. Producers and distributors are required to inform the national authorities of voluntary actions or measures taken to prevent risk to the consumer. The authorities must notify these voluntary measures to the Commission when a product poses a serious risk.
