AACC 2006: A Positive Experience with Positive Responses

AACC is an international scientific/medical society of clinical laboratory professionals, physicians, research scientists and other individuals involved with clinical chemistry and clinical laboratory science disciplines. Founded in 1948, the society has 9,500 members and is headquartered in Washington, DC. AACC is subdivided geographically into 22 local sections. It is governed by a Board of Directors elected by the membership.
This year Obelis E.A.R.C. attended AACC 2006 as an exhibitor. We were able to meet with several of our clients, and professionals in the Medical Device industry.
Obelis O.E.A.R.C. also exhibited with one of the OneLink:OneSolution Partners; Qserve Group, facilitates product market approval, e.g., CE Marking in
Europe and FDA approval in the USA, and provides quality management systemimplementation of ISO 13485, auditing conform ISO 13485, as well as
(pre)clinical evaluations. Qserve is the expert in quality assurance and regulatory affairs for manufacturers of medical devices.
We met with several clients to discuss their specific regulatory situation and to offer them some advice. By teaming up with Qserve Group, and the rest of the OneLink:OneSolution partners, we are able to offer clients more solutions than before.
The exhibition allowed us to provide support and educate about the need of having a professional European Authorized Representative in the EU territory.
